Why do You Need the BodyBrew?

Good for Your Heart?

The BodyBrew is not just good for making excellent tasting coffee; it is also good for your body’s health. For those who want to enjoy good coffee and also maintain good health, then you should consider cold coffee brewing. It has lower levels of Cafestol than the average coffee, and this helps in reducing Cholesterol in your body. It also has lower acidity content compared to coffee brewed by other methods.

High cholesterol leads to heart diseases which is a common cause of death worldwide. Coffee brewed by other methods like the French Press and Espresso have higher Cafestol which increases cholesterol levels in the body. It is the most cholesterol elevating compound in human foods. Taking boiled coffee which is not filtered like the Turkish coffee elevates Triacylglycerol and LDL (Low-Density Lipoprotein) does increase levels of cholesterol.

In a test carried out in 2009, BOD cold brewing system proved to have lower contents of Cafestol. This makes it the ideal method of brewing coffee as it has lower health risks.

Good for Your Stomach?

Coffee might at times give you a stomach ache, heartburn or GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease). This is due to the acid content found in the coffee like the Espresso and the French Press. Statistically, one out of ten people get heartburn once or twice in a week. This is due to the acids in the body.

Cold brewed coffee has lower levels of acidity which reduce the occurrence of heartburn. Coffee brewed by the Bodybrew has 0.5% acid content which is considerably lower compared to Espresso which has 2.7% acid content. So if you want to avoid getting stomach pains or heartburn, then BodyBrew is the device for you.

Good for Your Teeth?

BodyBrew coffee is also good for your teeth. Coffee brewed by other methods like the Espresso has higher levels of Tannic Acid which may cause tooth decay and staining teeth. Studies show that Tannic Acid weakens enamel which is responsible for the protection of your teeth.

When you drink hot coffee, the teeth expand and contract, allowing for penetration of coffee stains in the enamel. The acid can also wear out the teeth and ultimately cause decay. Cold brewed coffee has lower acidity which makes it a good option for preparing coffee.

Learned some new things about coffee, I knew coffee helped wake you up and well getting that bowel movement in the morning going (sorry but that’s what I know). I didn’t know the part about getting high cholesterol because of coffee and I definitely did not know you can brew coffee for 12 to 24 hours. How is the energy efficiency on this thing? Sounds interesting and I love cold brewed coffee during hot summer mornings. Is this different than the way Starbucks brews there’s? Need to run this past the other half and see what she says. Thanks for the review.

    1. Hello Jason, I am glad you learned something new about coffee from this article, cold brew coffee is really better than other kinds of coffee, if you have interest, then you can check out my previous post “Cold Brew Coffee Instructions.”
This BodyBrew Cold Brew System don’t need the power, it just simply put ground coffee and water then waiting for 12 to 24 hours, so it is no energy efficiency issue.
I am not 100% sure what device that Starbucks used, but the brewing way is similar, but the BodyBrew Cold Brew System focus on making more healthy coffee, so if you want to make cold brew coffee at home, and you want a healthy lifestyle, then this one is perfect.
Thanks for your questions, I hope these are helping you.
